Me too, I was strongly advised to go back to patch 26b and not get my hopes up on the new patch.

But now the entire command line seems to be not working, but worked fine with the latest beta patch.

Adm Scott - did you use the hyphen at the top of the keyboard or the minus sign in the numeric pad? The latter will not work.
Also, make sure the shortcut you have them in does NOT point to the Autorun.exe file. That is just a menu. You want the shortcut pointing to the game file WarInThePacificAdmrialEdition.exe

I used the shorter minus sign I think, not sure, it worked fine until I went to an older patch so it must have been hypens, they look the same to me..

I copied and pasted the old command line, so why isnt it working with 26b?

I just retyped it to make sure, and its still not working.

I figured it out, it needed BETA2 in the command line.

There is supposed to be a new patch coming out soon. The current patch is on the Tech support page.

How much of a difference and improvement will the new patch be compared to the current beta patch?

We'll likely find the full story when it's finally released. That's usually how it goes.

We've finished working thru RJ's issue list, now we're working on Yaab's issue list. So it could be another 1-2 weeks before we're done with those. Then we do our build and test, then Matrix does their build and we test, then Beta-2 will be publically released. And we'll give it another 30 days minimum for folks to shake that out before going production with that build.

Thus, it will probably be January 24 before all that ^^ gets done. Matrix is hyper busy during the period trying to release new games for XMAS.

But it should be a cinch to get our build done in Jan.

Updates will continue, we're in the home stretch at last.

Me going thru a "move from hecque" - 26 weeks of 800 mile round trips moving trailer load after trailer load of farm/house items. One round trip per week, definitely didn't help, but that's all done now. And this is up in my top 5 priority list.
Just one more year until January 24th! Woohoo!

That first problem could be an issue with the Windows transparency setting for you desktop. Set it to opaque.
Don't know the answer to the second problem, but I recall at least one player had a mod that made the Dutch icons orange.

Fixed the color issue but the first problem still presists despite doing what you said  Also when i click on the end turn button or quit button the window dose not pup up i need to push the windows button to go to the desktop and then the window appears when i return to the game...

You could have the Windows desktop set to be "Always on top". Change that.
I move the Windows task bar to the right side of my screen where it will have least interference with the game. I play in windowed mode so the window is snugged up to the right side task bar and is another strip on the left that has my shortcut icons for other programs. It's all very handy and problem free because the desktop is there and my game window sits on it without interference from below.

Right clicking on the desktop should bring up a menu of things you can change the settings on.
