Moved restricted squadron in setup - Messed up

Post by Gratch1111 »

So as Japan and playing Scen, 2 I moved some airunits, like 4, in editor before game start but didnt think not to move restricted units. So now I have a restricted unit, HQ cant be changed, that cant be moved and cant be loaded on a transport, its a navy DB unit with Vals. So here are my questions
1/ Is it possible to load on a carrier? My guess is no?
2/ I can disband it, but then its just gone?
3/ I can withdraw it for 60 days but where will it return? Where it was withdrawn or where it is supposed to be(Japan)

1. Yes, If the units can be bought out.
2. True..
3. It would appear Japan somewhere...

Did you save the scenario in a slot higher than 25?

Hope this helps....GP

Thanks

Yes I did, but its a PBEM game so I would have to ask first before doing anything. Is there things you can do if its higher than 25? Also, since it cant be bought out there really is no difference as to where it is because it will still only be a training unit, correct?

Slots above can be mods. 25 or lower are reserved for official scenarios. You can use it as a training unit....GP

See if you can load it onto a carrier.

I think saves and scenarios are being mixed up here. This is for scenarios. Saves cannot be editited.

1. Yes! if it cv apable and it sounds as if it is.
2. With disband you get the option to reform it but it returns as it left but inTokyo, their National Home Base . If you say no it's gone.
3. You withdraw for 60 days of you don't withdraw. Yes returns it to Tokyo as it left, with no it stays on the map. I.e. nothing happens.

If you want to fix it your only option is to tranfer it to a CV.
