shut off production menu - 2 ways to do this.
#1 Country -> Unit Stats -> Available for Build = toggle no for all units
#2 Campaign -> Use Production Menu (upper right) = toggle off
Supply you can use some of the resources as supply locations.
Resource - #16, #17, #18 resources are permanent supply without production
Thanks. I was already aware of these features but I didn't know that they would automatically enable unit replacement via resources if they were just turned off for building new units.
One question I have, and it isn't related to this scenario: I am having an issue with custom image data being loaded via the folder in the campaigns file. I can easily edit terrain, tile, etc., and it shows up in game. But when I edit the "control" map colors, they will appear in game, but then instantly disappear once a turn passes, you click on/off the control view option, or if anything else interacts with them, such as a nation going to war.
My first goal is to have minor countries have their own custom control color, and for this color to not be dependent on the controlling major. My second is to edit the major country control colors. Both of these things were easily done, but like I said, the game reverts to default control colors despite my edits in the "control" image file placed in campaigns>myscenario.
Is this something to do with the "Read and Load Data" tab in the editor? Do I need to save this control file to the "mysaveddata" file in my games > usersaveddata?
Also, is there any way to edit advancement bonuses? Or are these hard-coded? I want to give year 3 of infantry a +1 to tanks, for example.
Oh yeah, last thing: is there a way to disable the production of support units like oilers and air transports?
Sorry for all the questions.
