Glad I didn't make a mistake there. I was thinking HOW could I have screwed that up?!! Wonder if I should change the mine that the ML can carry? Hmm...

Must be something in your mod. I am using Ver. 1126a and Ariadne, Manxman and Apollo all show the British Mk XVII mine.

I don't think that he meant the version, I think that he meant the scenario plus any modifications that the scenario maker has or has not done. Some things were changed in some updates but if the person making the scenario did not update the ships to use the new mines, then those ships will show the old mines. Or if someone just had the ships as the class of the original ship that came and left without adjusting the type of mine used, then the mine used from the original ship will still be showing.

I have never messed with Allied ML of any sort. Rather strange.

Paul and I are going to try a mid-game upgrade option and see if it takes. After I get the current turn done, will do the modifications then send them to him. Not sure if it will work or not but it is worth a try.

44-2-20: The DD flotilla at canton was a scheduled bombardment run into Baker Island. Itmissed the bombardment but did catch a kawachi TF in the hex. 2 more Bombardment TFs came in behind this DD flotilla and we did some damage.

There is a small Caradoc SCTF, one CL and 2DDs operating south of Baker island. It discovered the IJN CVTF during the night. I suspect the Caradoc interrupted a replenishment mission based on where the CV strikes landed on the replenishment TF on first day. The Caradoc Captain has an aggression rating of 43. So he fired his torps and put 2 shots into a CV before withdrawal. MISSION ACCOMPLISHED.

As the 1st day unfolded a CA bombarded Baker to suppress the LBA. Note the overstock planes on a one size AF. 2 DD flotillas arrive from the north and NW. One DD tf circles Baker as the Arleigh Burke lead TF sweeps north to south. Mission is recon/disruption. Heavy cloud cover has hampered sightings.
