parusski may have passed

Post by Jim D Burns »

I was reading through some old forum posts and came across a post by parusski and thought I hadn't heard from him in a while. After some digging, it appears he passed away last July. Here's a memorial page I found, it lists his wife's name as Ambria which is the name he gave for his wife on this forum when talking about Rhonda once.

Another long time contributor to the forum gone, and he was only 50...

I've just checked the helpdesk and his last ticket was on July the 3rd and he never responded back.
The birthday date of his profile is the same so I'm afraid this can be more than just a coincidence.

And he was only 50...
I'm really sad, so sad...

The thing strange about that is its in Tennessee. I messaged him once and he said he lived in Wyoming. But Looking at everything it appears your right. And its very sad RIP. Thanks for finding that Jim.

Very sorry to hear, as he always seemed a positive and intelligent voice on the forums. And he died too young.

WOW..this really has hit me! He was just about to join the team at AWNT and I think I had sent him review serial for a game..and just wasn't getting any reply suddenly! I was told he was good friends with the LAdy who had also just died so thought maybe his absence had something to do with that.

This is a real loss. I've asked on here about him a few times.

He was very active in a lot of the General discussion posts.

Very sad news indeed. I viewed him as a friend and not just a forum buddy

Well here is an email he sent me on the 3rd June regarding talks about reviewing for AWNT. What ever happened it must have been sudden and out of the blue.

"Date: Fri, 3 Jun 2016 01:05:24 -0600

Get in touch and tell me what this was about. I really have been on the road for the last few days. I have my laptop in my hotel, we will be here for 3 days. So talk to me."

Like to be able to send my wishes to his family.

Jim big thanks for finding this out:) Gives us all a chance to say good bye..belated but better late than us never knowing!

Parusski,

I'm sure heaven has wi fi:) So hope you are still checking here and also checking AWNT:) I was so pleased you where joining us at AWNT. I reckon you are a big loss to the site aswell. Anyway my good firend. WIll catch up with you on the other side:) RIP mate.

That is rubbish, 50 is too young [:(]

RIP parusski (aka Steiner)

I really enjoyed the banter. I hope you didn't try and sneak in the BPB past St Peter at the Pearly Gates! [:)]

I was told he was good friends with the LAdy [Rhonda] who had also just died so thought maybe his absence had something to do with that.

He probably knew Rhonda's illness was terminal, because I remember one day he had posted something like this: "hurry up and write something to her before it's too late". This while Rhonda was minimizing the health problem (typical feminine behaviour: they are in general tougher than men).
