1.60b Public Beta Now Available!

The team behind the award-winning game Advanced Tactics is back with a new and improved game engine that focuses on the decisive early days of World War II! Decisive Campaigns: The Blitzkrieg from Warsaw to Paris is the first in an innovative series of operational World War II wargames that also include a strategic element. The Blitzkrieg from Warsaw to Paris simulates Germany’s military successes in Poland and France in 1939 and 1940 (including also a hypothetical “Sea Lion” invasion of Great Britain).

Post by Tamas »

Hi Everyone,

We have created the installer for the 1.60b update Vic has posted on the forum earlier.

We believe it is ready to go, but would like to ask you to take a look before we make it official.

It is available from the Members Area

The change log:

Code: Select all

-Big update of the core code base of Warsaw To Paris fixing loads of minor issues and glitches

 -Minimalist Counter option added

 -Regime Coloring option added

 -In-game resolution changes added

-Possibility for windowed play added through windows.txt config file

-High Speed map scrolling option added

-New variant of Poland 1939 scenario sporting a Hybrid AI (dc2/dc3) to provide you with a new opponent that plays differently than what you where used too!

Hey Tamas,

thank you very much for the info. I probably would add that on Steam you can opt in on the beta very easily via Properties/Betas (right-click the game in the library).

But I actually meant to ask if it would be somehow possible to play the alternative AI variants for Poland in the campaign as well.

Hi Fluffy,

Not with this version. The Hybrid AI for Poland scenario is just a little extra gift for the moment.

Best wishes,
Vic

And the gift is much appreciated [:)] Thanks very much, Vic! It's awesome to see the old games still receiving attention from the designer. (And then there is the free (!!!) community project you gave to us. That is quite the dedication to the player base.) I'm new to the series and very much looking forward to digging in.

Best wishes,
Christian
