I loaded it but the name doesn't show on the scenarion menu.

When I click on slot 17 it does show up.

Small item to fix.

I now get a failure to load scenario error.

I believe AndyMac forgot that scenario slots 1 through 25 are reserved, and require a special stamp to function. His scenario will work if you rename the files from xxx017 to , say, xxx037 before you dump them into your Scen folder.

Andy has the stamp, so that's not the problem. So ... nevermind [;)]

Loads ok now.  First check of the allies has unit 6537 - 120 RAF Base Force assigned to an unknown command.  1963 - No. 788 Sqd FAA with Swordfish due to be withdrawn on 15 May 42.  I've also seen in both the Marianas and this one that some ships start with zero endurance.  Is this by design?

Just loaded it up. Playing the Axis against the AI

First turn I noticed a couple of things so far. TF 149 at Sabang can transfer ships from TF 150 (TF 150 does not appear on map nor in the TF listings). A couple of ships in both 149 and 150 are set at zero endurance.

Also, the Japanese sub TFs have home ports way outside of the region. Not a big problem but I just set all of them to base out of Rangoon. Can't wait to put those 3 U-Boats to work! [&o]

Japanese vs AI

Moulmein is getting hit with a low garrison penalty on turn 1. Is that intentional?

Yup the two axis TF's arrive at random intervals sometimes close soemtimes far give the scen some variability

TF 150 with the carriers wasn't due for a couple of days yet I was able to transfer the surface ships out of it on turn one (thus bypassing the arrival delay). Not sure that was intentional.

On a hunch I reloaded the scenario and formed a new carrier TF at Sabang and was able to pull ships including carriers from both 149 and 150 (on turn 1). Seems like an unintended feature.
