Tactical Systems & Fleet Readiness Update

socials
Published on July 26, 2026

Submariners, today, we are thrilled to deploy this new technical update directly to your command consoles.

Below is the complete list of fixes, features, and known issues included in today's build (0.120.3):

Fixed Issues & New Features

Fire Control & Ordnance Management

  • Harpoon Self-Destruct Safety Zone: Hooked a new missile management capability into the UI/UX. Commanders can now set a dedicated circular self-destruct safety zone parameter directly within the mission design of the Harpoon before launch, ensuring off-course missiles self-destruct rather than threatening neutral vessels.

  • Fire Control Backend Revamp: Completed a comprehensive back-end overhaul of the Fire Control (FC) systems to improve handling across all weapon types.

  • Missile Control Handler & Seeker Range: Added a new system for missiles enabling the seeker-on-distance feature, alongside new Fire Control mission panel features in the Mission Planner.

Acoustic & SONAR Suite

  • Water Explosions SONAR Registration: Resolved a critical acoustic bug where torpedo and depth charge detonations (and associated transients) failed to register on SONAR displays. Water explosions now accurately output audio feedback to the SONAR suite.

  • Acoustic Levels: Adjusted air and water explosion Sound Level (SL) parameters for accurate acoustic propagation.

  • Explosion Triggers: Fixed an issue where torpedoes hitting terrain would trigger two duplicate explosions.

Station UI, Display & Time Compression

  • Crisp Multi-Monitor Support: Fixed an issue where external and secondary displays appeared blurry regardless of graphics settings or upscalers. External displays now remain razor-sharp.

  • Dynamic TimeScale System (1x–12x): Overhauled the time compression mechanics with a dynamic fallback system. The game automatically calculates and selects the optimal time compression rate your hardware can safely maintain (ranging from 1x to 12x).

  • Station Navigation During Pause: Updated Cinemachine logic so internal cameras ignore time scale constraints. You can now freely navigate between stations and inspect the vessel while the game is paused.

  • UI & Settings Refresh: Updated visual layout for Settings UI tabs/sections, fixed UI blurriness caused by screen space canvases being incorrectly handled by anti-aliasing settings, and updated station transition speeds.

  • Radio & Navigation UI: Fixed missing message displays in the Radio Room, added ECDIS Point of Interest (POI) plotter functionalities, and restored saving/loading capabilities for ECDIS Routes.

Simulation, Missions & General Bug Fixes

  • "El Presidente" Mission Fixes: Corrected a zone trigger issue that previously blocked completion of the El Presidente mission. Furthermore, intelligence reports indicated that the Presidential Yacht was flagged as unsinkable—it is now officially sinkable.

  • Torpedo Cable Retention: Fixed a snapshot issue where torpedo cables lost their state upon loading a save file with a live torpedo.

  • Localization Updates: Added Spanish language localization support and fixed missing radio mission information in 3rd party localizations.

  • Environmental Data (SSP): Applied easing parameters on interpolated temperature values for smoother ocean profile rendering.

  • General Polish: Fixed missing bearing/range numbers on HF Sonar, resolved "flying whales" physics loop anomalies, fixed missing messages in Quick Missions, and corrected date/time parsing crashes on specific system locales.

Known Issues

We are actively tracking the following verified issues and are working on solutions for upcoming patches:

  • Active Intercept Contacts: Active Intercept may register the same contact multiple times if the contact operates on a very low Pulse Repetition Frequency (PRF).

  • Ship Hull Names: Ship names currently do not print on hulls during gameplay or after loading a saved game due to a name-assigner shader issue.

  • Upscaler UI Artifacts: Setting upscalers (DLSS) to Performance or Ultra Performance modes can cause station UI text to appear slightly blurry.

  • ASM/LAM Mission Display: Loaded Anti-Ship Missile (ASM) or Land Attack Missile (LAM) missions from a save file may not immediately display in the UI until an interaction occurs.

  • Mission Refactoring & Localization: Ongoing work continues for mission distance/setup refactoring (for improved immersion alongside Operational AI development) as well as Greek and Romanian localizations.

Moving Forward

Our commitment to expanding and perfecting Modern Naval Warfare remains our top priority. We are continuously monitoring your feedback as we polish core features and move forward towards future updates.

Good hunting, Captains.
