This Armored Brigade II update introduces an improved ammunition selection algorithm. The new system chooses ammunition based on both target type and the level of identification available.
When a target has not been fully identified, ammunition selection is guided by broad vehicle characteristics such as whether it is wheeled, tracked, or half-tracked. Once the target is positively identified (for example as an MBT, medium tank, light tank, or APC) the system prioritizes suitable anti-armor rounds, including penetrating, special penetrating and shaped-charge ammunition. High-explosive and fragmentation rounds are preferred against non-vehicle targets.
