Where to start?

Post by ncarson »

Just got this game and read thru the manual... it looks FANTASTIC, but I'm wondering what is the best way to start for a reasonably experienced gamer but new to this one. Looks like there is no tutorial, so what is the best and most simple campaign? Thanks in advance.

That's a good question.
I think I'd start with 1945 August Storm, that way this mini campaign will provide you with a way to gain familiarity with the ground and air mechanics.
After that, play the main campaign, 1941 Day of Infamy.

I would say Solomans campaign which gives you a good feel for naval, air, and ground operations...
