Lost Fleets Outside of Galaxy & 8x Speed Research

I'm just getting started in learning DW2 many years after mastering DW. I've been setting the AI to fully run my empire just to get a feel for the game and any new changes. I've noticed a few inconsistencies that I'm not sure are bugs but may be.

I have noticed that some of my fleets go missing outside of the galaxy and sometimes they just disappear and sometimes they limp back to a base to repair or refit. One fleet I saw on the outside to the right ended up being way to the left outside the galaxy. Sometimes I get the feeling that they go from one side to another like the map is wrap around like the earth is shown on some games to allow circumnavigation. I kept wondering why I would lose fleets and significant combat power when I wasn't at war. Is this some kind of pathing problem or is this normal that sometimes fleets get lost?

I played at the 8x faster speed and late in the game I noticed that research isn't updated often enough. Sometimes I'd see a project with 2 or 3 days left and it would be that many months before they updated. I know I'll never run the game faster than normal speed to avoid this bug. Perhaps 8x speed is just too fast, especially late in the game. Seems like I remember this from the original DW.

The fleet going outside the galaxy definitely sounds strange. Do you mind uploading a save where you're seeing this? Ideally a save from before you see the fleet go outside the galaxy, as well as after you notice.

Regarding the tech update issue - we've had other reports of this and we're investigating. If you can you provide a save and some screenshots of what you're seeing exactly - that'll help in our investigation.

I may have a saved game but it is too large to upload, even as a zip file. I didn't take any screen shots. So how do I upload a file that's too big to use the Add Files function? I did notice that now that I'm playing on expert level I may not be seeing the problem. It is in version 1.2.2.0.

You can upload the save through a file sharing service such as WeTransfer or Google Drive.

Maxim - I don't have WeTransfer or Google Drive and have absolutely no interest in google garbage. I do have dropbox where I could upload a save and then clear it for you to access.

Dropbox could work. We have run into some issue with Dropbox in the past, hence the recommendation of WeTransfer (https://wetransfer.com/) or Google Drive.

Feel free to use, whichever sharing service is most comfortable for you.
