Does this game get many players online?

Battleground Europe is the first volume in the Virtual Battlefield Series and features the armies, vehicles, weapons and equipment found on the battlefields of Western Europe 1939-1942.. Report for duty to the first-person, online action game where players choose to fight alongside and against thousands of other players on the battlefields of Western Europe.

Does this game get many players online?

Going by this forum it looks like this game is dead and may not be worth me purchasing. Or does it actually have a lot of payers and not about to go belly up?

Yes there is an official player forums also by CRS. You can find links to it from the mian page under the Community section. I am a 3yr + player in this game. I usually am on these forums for War in the Pacific. :)
