Old EF Scenarios

Post by rmmwilg »

Some of these may require mods which I will upload later.
Back in the day, there was JSGME, so now switching out such mods should be simple enough. Just remember that the most recent mod activated in JSGME is the one that takes precedence. So for specific scenarios, any applicable mod should be activated after any other 'normally on' mods

Having finally unzipped all this stuff, there are also a couple that are incomplete and can just be deleted.

Cool!

Just downloaded all including RS and WF and will test them out.

It looks like a lot of these came from the great old Wargamer download section which sadly has been shut down.

There are some here I've been looking for!

Thanks!

Totally welcome. Having gone through all of them to organise in my folders, I did find a few that were incomplete, missing a .scn file or some such, but lots of good stuff in there otherwise! Yes, if I remember right, that's where I got them from. Been quite a while though!

Hey Michael Maguire,[:D]

You did good, real good my friend!!

One of those is even a creation of my own. "Hell on the Neisse"! But that was long ago when I was in my early forties, early 2000's.

Hope it still works. If not I have a copy on my Win10 rig in 2.02 that does, I think...

Cheers!

Thanks John [;)][;)]
Always good to contribute and from what I've found so far, they're all playing with v2.02 just fine! It's fun to resurrect this stuff from 20 odd years ago and thanks for all the contributions folks like yourself have made over all thees years!

Hi mate.
Please excuse my ignorance, but I have no idea how to open these files. I have unzipped a couple of them but I don't know the extensions. As a former member of the Australian Army, I blame old age, nearly 75, and agent orange and all the other shit they dumped on us in Vietnam for my addled brain. If you could help me out here I would be most grateful.
Take care and keep well in these crazy times.

Hi Brad,

Shouldn't need to open the files, per se. Just extract from the zip file and copy into the games folder. If I remember right, each scenario has two files (a .scn file and a .txt file, maybe also a map file). Again, they just need to be copied into the game's folder, and they'll appear in the scenario list when you open the game thereafter.
