I thought I would have a go at an AAR for the Central Powers (using Nato symbols).
Turn 1 - 23rd July 1914
I move the Austrian battlefleet to Cetinje to provide some fire support if required.
Three Infantry armies head for the Serbian border and attack the Garrison two hexes west of Belgrade. The Serb unit survives - just.

I attack the Garrison again and this time there is no 2nd chance for the Serbian.

Turn 3 - 6th August 1914
The Germans have joined me!
The Serbs attack Sarajevo and cause some damage [&:] I do not attack this turn but go into repair mode. I put my fleet into the Baltic and sub into the North Sea.
Germany
I make a mistake with the mouse and send my cavalry the wrong way! NEED AN UNDO BUTTON!! With this few units on the board that will be a costly mistake...
I take Liege and that's about all I can do.

Turn 5 - 20th August 1914
The Russians are in...
I try and keep the French penned south of a line, Paris-Liege, but that is going to be tough.
The Austrians move units toward Cetinje, and this time the battlefleet inflicts a 1-point hit, followed by a 2-2 result when an AH Infantry joins in.

Turn 6 - 3rd September 1914
This is going to be tough. A mass attack by the Russians sees Lemburg fall already - CarnageINC I know your pain!! However, at the moment, there is nothing I can do....
In Serbia, the Garrison at Cetinje is repaired and I take large losses trying to make a dent in the Serb unit....
Out of frustration I open up along the line and take some serious losses....[&:]
What about Germany?
Well the good news is I took Antwerp...the bad news is I have no units!!

Turn 7 - 17th September 1914
The Russians move into East Prussia. They make a mistake and take the coastal route. I have a battlefleet waiting and my ships take 2-chunks out of the cheeky Russian. Unfortunately, despite the best efforts of an Infantry and Garrison unit, the Russian gets away - albeit reduced to 1 point.
On the Western Front I am playing a very risky game.... I don't know how ZOC work in this game, but lets hope they are in play!

The Germans are just about sticking to the plan - just... The next French counter-attack is vital.....
Meanwhile the AH do not go after the Russians around Lemberg - they cannot afford to. Instead they concentrate on attacking Cetinje, which they do and reduce the Garrison to a 4.

The AH take Cetinje! Well done boys. But the Russians are just so numerous. I have formed a line around Krakow-Przemzyl. Let's hope it holds.
The Russians take Posen... This is going to be tricky to dislodge.
In France, the net tightens - but its liable to break at any moment...[X(]

The Turks are in!! Hello everybody peeps innit?
In Serbia I re-organise my line, bringing an artillery piece to the hex south of Sarajevo (should arrive next turn).
There is nothing to do against the Russians around Krakow other than pray....
The Germans attack the Russian in Posen and also reinforce East prussia. Praying that the Russians get bored and go home is high on the agenda here too.

Utter carnage!! The Russians are just too powerful... I attack in East Prussia but am heavily repulsed. In desperation I try and put the Posen Infantry and Garrison attackers out of supply using an AH Garrison from Krakow. This is risky as the AH are in big trouble too.. I have a reinforcement Garrison that I place in Klausenburg to try and stop any flanking manoeuvre.

Turn 11 - 12th November 1914 (cont)
The Serbs have moved the infantry east of Sarejevo away - they form a defensive line from Belgrade south. I do not attack this turn as I want my artillery in place first.
Egypt
The British have moved toward Gaza. I retire my cavalry to Jeruselem and place a Garrison nearby.
France
More carnage.... The French now have a solid line south of the Seine.
First things first. I remove the surrounded French Infantry. I then continue to probe around Paris, employing my cavalry to good effect to force the enemy to retreat and then using von's Hindenburg and Falkenhayn to attack Paris. i can buy bo reinforcements this turn, I need all my cash to repair units in advance of the coming backlash..

Turn 12 - 26th November 1914
Aaagghh. How did the British get two infantry to Eastern Egypt so fast? I go for a risky manoeuvre and try and put the advanced Infantry out of supply. It means coming out of entrenched positions, but the British units are too strong.
In East Prussia my plan to put the Russian OOS worked but in trying to reduce the Posen pocket I took large losses again...
In Serbia there is little I can do against the entrenched Serbs. I bide my time and try and get my artillery in place.
In France, the Anglo-French line west of the Seine is impregnable, so I try and push further south to split the French in two.

I lose my convoy in the Baltic to the Russians [8|] Forgot about them....
Reducing OOS Russians is just proving sooo costly [:@] - Ive taken one Garrison from the Posen pocket out but it took all my attacks to do so.
In Serbia I reduce a Garrison south of Belgrade to a 6.
In Egypt my idea to move the British OOS paid dividends and I have destroyed one Infantry - but the British had not only a 3rd, but a 4th unit and have taken Gaza.
In France my plan has failed.. I push back behind the river east of Paris, although a pyhrric victory is mine as I reduce Paris to a 2-strength.

I try and stabilize the position in Egypt by pulling back and repairing. I need the British to come to me so I can put them OOS.
In Serbia I take the hex south of Belgrade, but one of my Infantry is down to 4 and looking vulnerable.
Russia is just a mess, although the enemy appears to be concentrating on East Prussia.
In France I stupidly try some risky attacks to change the situation but all I've done is make my position more vulnerable...
Screenshots next turn.
