Re: Mirror Counterfactual Solo Game. Fascist Tide Scenario.
If I were the German player, I would be in shock. That was almost as bad as bad can be.
I thought I knew how to play this game....
Re: Mirror Counterfactual Solo Game. Fascist Tide Scenario.
It's likely to get much worse for Germany unless France is unlucky. Was debating as the allies on whether or not to be conservative but decided to go for it and really set Germany's timeline back.

Re: Mirror Counterfactual Solo Game. Fascist Tide Scenario.
After looking at the board the French and Great Britain can get 2:1 odds against Brussels & Luxembourg, respectively. So, it's really not all that risky. Barring the 2:1, 4-6 die rolls looks like Germany going to be in trouble.
I do need to review the conquest rules wrt/who gets the BRPs for Brussels & Luxembourg at the start of the year.
After looking at 24.3 and assuming both 2:1 attacks are successful, France would get the 15 BRPs for Belgium and Great Britain 5 BRPs for Luxembourg during the 1940 YSS. Assuming Germany "recaptures" them both during 1940 they won't get the 20 BPRs until 1941. To add insult to injury Germany is likely to lose out on these 20 BRPs for a year (i.e., 1940).
I don't recall ever having this kind of intrigue in any of my solo games 40 years ago. I'm not sure if that's because I'm a better strategist now versus then or if I'm just rusty. I do know that this game I'm religiously following the sequence of play versus winging it all those years ago.
At least in AH's 3rd Reich a disaster of a game is over quicker than in MWIF, barring resignation of course.

ADDENDUM. FALL 1939. Allied. USSR UCR & SR Phases.
I forgot last turn the unit construction and strategic redeployment phases for the USSR. One advantage of vassal is that I can go back and fix it. One disadvantage of vassal vs MWIF is that I have to enforce both the phases and rules which MWIF so wonderfully handles.

Re: Mirror Counterfactual Solo Game. Fascist Tide Scenario.
On the first turn, your report says that the French built 2x4-5 armored units in Paris for 8 BRPs, but the picture shows 3-5s. Also, other armor costs 2 BRP per factor, so shouldn't this be 2x3-5 for 12 BRPs?
The French have those BRPs, so you can change this with no problem. If the French did have to spend four more BRPs for the armor, then the Allies would have been tied with the Axis, and might not have to spend the 15 BRPs for an offensive option. (Not sure of the rule.)
