WOW, weather was kind to Germany. This next turn should be interesting, could be the first and last Caucasus oil, especially if Allies win initiative might be as far an Germany get more or less. Would love to see re-enforcements.

Pat got the last impulse of last turn and the first impulse of this turn with fine weather for both impulses. If that happens again, and the way my luck's been running with the initiate and weather I fully expect it, then the Soviets are dead meat!

Here is the ND42 reinforcement pool before any SO production. Not a lot coming on for the Russians. I do expect that I am near the high water mark as the axis, but I'll keep looking for opportunities. Things went better in the Crimea than expected and then the RU mistake of leaving an overrun-able division as a speed bump did help. Russia has so much saved oil (over 30) that it will take many turns like this one for them to use up all the oil on production and start being limited by a lack of resources.

Making up for the really poor weather I had in the first year of the war. 4 fine temperate impulses from SO39 (includes the initial guaranteed fine) to the end of MJ40. Even the fall of 40 was bad.

You have played it very nice Ash, hard to stop for sure. One step ahead and maintained initiative throughout.

Not a lot of Russia inf/arm or fast movers. Some nice fighters which should help. That initiative and weather is going to hurt. No mud to slow em up last turn and winter starts clear. Mr. Initiative and Mr. Weather have been recalled to Stalin for a chat.

1st SS Armoured for Germany, yummy.

Now my question is does it go to Spain or Russia. I diverted the 10-6 ARM over to Spain in one of my last rail moves. He does not have a lot of land units available to increase the bridgehead and with enough "luck" I may push him back into the sea again.

General Eisenhower has personally taken command of the bridgehead and has setup his HQ in Lisbon. Though, since arriving General Eisenhower seems to be smoking continuously.

SO42 EOT Axis Oil Usage
Forgot to save an image of the Japanese oil usage (the reorganized everything for 4.3 oil). Was frustrated by the lack of an undo button on this form and forgot to do the image. I had accidentally clicked on a unit and took 0.1 oil from the saved Canton oil. At that point I had to expend the rest of that oil. Not a huge deal, just an annoyance that does not need to be there.

Both Germany and Japan were able to increase their net oil stockpile this turn while producing at full rate. And Japan is using the Indian Yellandu resource for production.

Ronnie,

I also do not see your scrap screen when I load that saved game. I went back to the previous saved game and stepped through my final production and scrapping to get to the allied scrap options. Here is the Screens for the CW and USSR. I can do the scrapping for you and then go onto the next phases.
