Request: save game list sorted by save date

World in Flames is the computer version of Australian Design Group classic board game. World In Flames is a highly detailed game covering the both Europe and Pacific Theaters of Operations during World War II. If you want grand strategy this game is for you.

Request: save game list sorted by save date

Post by BrianJH »

Just wondering if it's possible, and not too difficult to sort save game files by the save date, rather than alphabetically. This would make it easier to find the right game file to restore, especially when choosing from the various auto save locations. Sorting by save date effectively would sort the auto save game files in game phase order.

Sure, that's how I have been doing this for the last 8 years. I shouldn't have to though. Using the Windows dialogs is clunky, and having to navigate where my save games are located is cumbersome. It would require allot less effort if this was presented better, perhaps by providing the player a choice on how the game files are sorted. Alphabetically, or in date order.

Agreed. It's a good idea.
