Enhancement Requests

Post by MattFL »

A few things that i would like to see modified....

1. You shouldn't be able to parachute/airdop in any weather conditions other than clear weather. It seems to be me now that you can basically Airdrop in any weather conditions in which a plane can fly. So Airdropping in the snow to take Helsinki should kinda not be allowed.

2. When a country such as Finland surrenders with the capture of a single hex (or really any country when their morale level drops to their surrender point) that country and it's allies should be given 1-2 turns to try to undo what happened that caused the surrender.

And yes, i'm well aware that the answer to this is just to not let it happen with garrisons. But really it's a bit silly when the north by Lenningrad is frozen so that the German player can't reinforce the ports in lenningrad by sea that the Russians can still paradrop during said weather.

And i was the Russian player in this case, still think it shouldn't allowed.

Just my .02.

You can only drop on a clear hex...You can take off in Rain and Snow but not drop a paratrooper in that.
I just tested...rain stopped my paratrooper from landing even though the plane could attack.

I sort of agree...France is set that way...BUT then the player just suicides units to do damage. Do we really want that to happen?

It must have been during a cold turn...again never seen anyone able to paradrop in to a "non" clear / cold hex.
