How do I make that super ship at the begining of the game?

I have never did this, and I want to try it. Problem is, I forget how. I remember reading how people thought it was a cheat that you use your home planet to make a super military ship.

So how do I do it? What to I pick? I can't totally forget how to do this. I was thinking of just making the Argo or "Yamato" Space Battle Ship.

So any idea or tips how to do this?

Hi, Davor. Are you thinking of the resupply ship? You can build one of those at a planet, which allows you to build larger ships than bases.

You may need to re-design the ship to be small enough to build. I think the first design is a little large for starting empires.

If you want a ship that is mainly a battle ship, then reduce the mining extractors, cargo bays and docking ports (I think you need at least one of each or it won't let you design it).

A word of warning though, This ship will probably be very slow. Early reactor tech doesn't really have the power.

Were you thinking of adding the image of the Argo also?

Thanks for the answer Igar. I beleive what you have said is starting to ring a bell. Thank you. I would love to have an image of the Argo, but I don't know how to add that. Once I start feeling better, I want to learn how to mod, so I can have Star Wars, vs Star Trek vs Battlestar Galactica vs Babylon 5 etc, until then, I will just name them as such.
