So....How do I open the editor?

The team behind the award-winning game Advanced Tactics is back with a new and improved game engine that focuses on the decisive early days of World War II! Decisive Campaigns: The Blitzkrieg from Warsaw to Paris is the first in an innovative series of operational World War II wargames that also include a strategic element. The Blitzkrieg from Warsaw to Paris simulates Germany’s military successes in Poland and France in 1939 and 1940 (including also a hypothetical “Sea Lion” invasion of Great Britain).

So....How do I open the editor?

Post by Xenomorph »

For the life of me, I can't find any way to open the editor. I've been away from all things computer gaming for a bit and I know I opened the editor before. (Although that might have been in Case Blue but I only have DCWP on my computer at the moment). Just to make sure I'm not crazy, I opened up Vic's Advanced Tactics Gold and checked how to open the editor. It was pretty simple: you click the button on the Main Menu that says "Editor" (although if you want to use the more realistic graphics it's another story...but I digress).

Anyway, I just now updated the game, hoping this issue would've been made well, more intuitive. But, while the readme file talks about improvements to the editor, finding a way to actually open the editor remains elusive. Thanks for any help.

OH I'm just going BATS!!! I found it. I have no idea why I didn't see it but I decided to load my Case Blue game to see if I found it there. And the first thing I see when I load the game is the editor button! So I think, "can't be...". So I re-open DCWP and...there it is in the exact same place. Sorry. I'm just losing it I think!

There must be a Murphy-type law that as soon as you post a question on a forum the answer jumps out a bites you. Has happened to me several times.

You have to select the scenario first and then you see the EDIT button.
