Resolution Issue

Close Combat: Panthers in the Fog is the first new release (not a re-make of a previous games) in years in the critically acclaimed Close Combat series. Resolution Issue

Hi - I just purchased and installed Panthers in the Fog and have a question regarding resolution options. My laptop is an Alienware with native 2560x1440 which the game looks great in except I can't see/find my troops when playing the game, too damn small. If I reduce the game resolution so that the sprites are larger and easier to see, the game will only play in a window mode even if I uncheck it in the options. Is there a trick to using a lower resolution say 1024x768 and get the entire screen 17.5"? Any help would be much appreciated. Was looking forward to playing but if I can't see.................

You could try changing the DPI settings for the EXE, it may scale up the window. PitF is not really set up to support very high rez screens.
