Quite an argument you position there. I'm sure that convinced everyone.

Perhaps it would be better to give the source of the information, rather than to give an isolated conclusion tinged with strong self-speculation. Though, I don't buy it either.

This is the Block V of the Virginia one of main components of program is sound quieting over existing Virginia class which is already quieter than the Yasen.

So, can we know the details of this "insider information"? Or do we simply believe your conclusion that have no information to back up?

You Know what, J-20 has a -99dbsm radar signal in all angles, I have AVIC & CAC insider information. Trust me.

As a 9 year active submariner. I have listened to Russian submarines on multiple occasions they make more noise than most of our surface fleet. Our sound quieting programs cost more money than the entire Russian sub program. I am sure with less money less advanced machinery less development time the Russian subs have caught up with the 2 generations they were behind in both sound isolation an acoustic sensors.

Don't encourage him. The last thing we need is our own "War Thunder forum argument" leak of classified info

More open source info with some coming from chinese so no skin in game when comparing Virginias to Yasens

https://gentleseas.blogspot.com/2016/10 ... e.html?m=1

Is this enough or do you want to remain obtuse?

If you had provided this OSINT information in the first place, then I would not have questioned your argument so strongly.

Military personnel should reserve these types of simulation comments for the professional edition. In general it would benefit true military operators to leave "the world" with an overestimated value of opponents and an underestimated view of their own capabilities.
