Brumbar - Heavy Assault Units

Post by GazBot »

Hello,

Being playing a fantastic PBEM as German in St Vith campaign and have a unit of Brumbar Hvy Assault Guns.

They seem to be very ineffective but cost massive amounts of fuel to supply....compared to the regular german artillery they seem to do nothing.

They do not even seem to reduce the structural points of fortifications etc....

Is their a bug with these or are they working as intended??

Happy you like DC4 Ardennes !
The Brumbar is more effective against troops/soft target and weak against armor/hard target.
The best use is supporting infantry attack.
But I must check the fuel/supply level and the short range atk-modifier for the next patch.

Thanks for reporting!

Yeah I just never see them doing that much damage....the 5km range seems a bit off as well...I thought they where for close in Infantry support????

Maybe they only have 1 salvo per combat turn??? which Im guessing would also make sense as Im guessing they had a far slower RoF than similar sized artillery???
