Been keeping myself entertained with Starsector. New version got released since i last played. Tons of fun. Takes the edge out of waiting for DW2 a bit. For anyone unfamiliar i'd describe it as Mount and Blade in space.

The bulk of the test invitations should go out tomorrow, just FYI. Also, the next Dev Diary should be posted tomorrow!

Great! I will be holding my breath. I was not selected in the first beta and I am hoping that I make it in the second!

Drats, didn't get in the beta. Putting some major hours into DW:U to stop me clucking here.

I hope to see Dune soon, also has anyone seen much of the series Foundation yet? I hear it will be epic sci-fi :)

@Scotias.
1. I am with you brother.
2. Same, I am currently playing 'Space Frogs and Friends'
3. Dune is great, good adaption. 1/2 a movie. If you are impatient, wait until the 2nd half is done so you don't get disappointed.
4. It's good, holds true to the books in a lot of ways, charts its own path in others.

Hang in there.

I was doing just that but I couldn't stop thinking about DW2. Recently I am helping test an early access game called Ostranauts to scratch my testing itch and take my mind off DW for a bit until I recover from not making it into beta testers:)

Seen Dune - it was great.
Not ever going to watch Foundation though, even if it is brilliant it would probably ruin my experience of the books. I have watched a few adaptions of books and even the really good ones I usually end up wishing I hadn't watched. Even Ender's game which I thought was a great film.

However, Dune I never read the books, or The Expanse, and I loved those.

I love Aurora 4X, but it only works for me if I binge on it for long sessions, otherwise I lose track of what I am doing.

Never tried War in the East 2. I'll have to look into it.

93 days to go :)

I have decided to read The Expanse books to pass the time, I am playing/testing Ostranauts and it seems to be a good fit.

You are absolutely right. I thought it was released on 22nd March for some reason.
Wohoo! Two weeks earlier than I thought! :)

Steaming is allowed for the next 2 weeks. But only 2 factions, as the others are not yet ready.
