This new tactical WW2 game looks promising

Post by minaro »

Its my first post but Ive been here a long time lurking and playing steel panthers and other games.
I am not sure if its the right place to post this but I am super hyped about this new tactical WW2 game that should be out very soon,

It's a frozen day in hell across the plains just west of the Don River. You and your fellow Soldat's are dug in here in defense, peering out to the east. Little more than a year ago, you were marching towards Moscow, singing songs, but that dream is over and you know it. Every day since has been a battle just to stay alive.
Suddenly you hear a large cheer to the front of you, another frenzied attack by the 1st Guards.
They advance over the bodies of their comrades that lay motionless and frozen in the snow from the previous day's fighting. The MG-42 positions to the left and right of your position open up and bodies begin to fall out in front of you. You frantically rack the bolt on your rifle, select targets, and fire. Then the roar of T-34's and KV-1's increases behind that 1st frantic wave. Will the Pak 40's beat them back? You pray as you slam another clip into the top of your Mauser and continue to fire as the snow begins to fall amid the chaos...

Rather seems to be another false hope of a high level tactical squad!

That's at least a company on the board.
You know what they say, don't you? About how us MechWarriors are the modern knights, how warfare has become civilized now that we have to abide by conventions and rules of war. Don't believe it.

I like the terrain graphics a lot, but the flat nato symbols don’t seem to to go well with it. The scope of three nations for 39-45 seems a little limited, perhaps GB should have been used instead of the US? For now I have rediscovered SpWw2 after a long break from all things w2, and loving it.

Added to my wishlist. Looks like a suite of Battlefield Academy.
