New game i played

So with the plague on my doorstep i was looking for something different to play. I’m 66 and like games that challenge the mind - been playing war games for about 45 years - but buy and never play the monsters - witp White etc.

I came upon a game nite team 4 on steam. You play a military hacker - you are given the tools (there is a lengthy “academy” learning phase. But you can cut it short and clears as you go) one you’re on the real cases - there is no one way - you must use all your resources to solve the case , steal documents, assign teams and do whatever.

The hacking part is as realistic as it comes - i have a friend who knows a lot of this and says its spooky how real it is.

I’m gonna says this - in 45 years - this is absolutely the best most immersive addicting game I’ve ever played also very strategic as what you do affects what you can do next.


An added bonus - you download new cases from the de opera every day - so it becomes a free game and there is a players open world for cases (kinda like modding.)

It’s on sale now $15 - you don’t need the expensive editor program (even to create your own “hive” as an open world source.)

Just thought I’d throw in my two sense.

GCHQ Cheltenham is about 400 yards from my house. Perhaps all my neighbours who work at "The Firm" have been playing this for the last 6 weeks because they certainly haven't been in the GCHQ building. Perhaps it counts as training?
