Well honestly I didn't see anything wrong with the previous design. The new home page locks up my computer for the 10 seconds or so it takes to load it. Plus when you select one of the games to look at and open and select any of the screens only about half of it shows up on the monitor with the other half extended down below the edge of the screen.

Since I come to the forums quite often I now bypass the home page but I'm sure once all the rough edges are fixed I'll go back to it.

Can you e-mail me a screenshot of what you see at erikr@matrixgames.com please? What browser are you using?

Hi all,

Good news!

The BETA forums can now accept the large attachments (5 MB) just as they were able to do before... [:)]

All the imagery should show up as normal once everything is moved. We are talking about a massive amount of data here, that simply can not be transfered over the air.

FYI
I can't get any of the patches or downloads to work now.  (OK, I only checked on GG's World at War: AWD.  I just bought it at Origins and I wanted to update it.)  Just thought I would let you know so you can check it out.

Thanks,
Duncan

I just tried to get onto the ftp public access and it now asks for a username and password. It never did before. Is this a deliberate change by Matrix?

ftp://ftp.matrixgames.com/pub/

If so, I think that it is a mistake to restrict ftp in this manner.

What don't you people understand about the phrase "we're IN THE PROCESS of moving the data"? It's not rocket science.

You mean you can't just snap your fingers and have it all transfer in a microsecond? [:(] I am shocked. [:D]

The Wargamer is moving to a new server as well. There will be time involved in the data migration there too.

Interesting that Battfront is also in the middle of doing the same thing.... there must be an internet mass migration going on.....[;)]

I think there is a kettlerian conspiracy to knock out all the wargame forums at one time.

Hi Guys

The older servers are currently in transit so all downloads as far as patches go are currently offline.  We expect this to be only for the next 24 hours or less.  We been reviewing all the post here so anything you notice please let me know.  We also added a coming soon link on our product page to help everyone find new unreleased product.

David

P.S. This should also correct all of the forum graphic issues as well.

Hi Herman

No it is not. The servers are currently in transit and that is why you are getting this.
