GeForce 8600M GT good enough?

I'd like to pick up this game, but I'm afraid my laptop hasn't enough video RAM = 256, shared = 767 and total 1056.

Anybody tried the game with these lower settings for a graphic card?

All my other specs are greater than the posted minimums.

RE: WHY did you start war gaming

<t> Didn't anyone ever play by mail? Back in the sixties we'd play by using the last numeral in the closing of a stock price for the die roll. RE: WHY did you start war gaming

<t> Why? Instinctive! My first hunting trip, guns. 1959, I'm eight, and I gather up all the spent shotgun shell hulls. At home, I line them all up and start knocking them down, a tennis ball artillery shell. Later, green army men and tanks, me and a buddy against each other, in the sandbox, artiller...

RE: Women In the Infantry

I know this is irrelevant, but why are the women's tee boxes different(closer) than the men's on every golf course in the World?

So if we got the women an exoskeletal enhancement would they be equal? Physically?

What about a combat equalizer(weapon)?

RE: North Africa Please

I think from a beginning of an "Operation Sphinx" concept to "Torch" ending with a possible Sicily/Italian expansion would give a long, interesting Allied campaign experience for gamers. On the Axis side the Mideast to Caucasus/ "Operational Orient" would extend the Med scenario further.

RE: Very Disappointed

<t> I feel your pain Kc. I just don't understand why you would want to make an exact replication of an old board game using advanced technology that could allow you to make it much less complicated, more playable and more fun. Absolutely defies logic!<br/> <br/> If you want to dial the complication ...
