It sounds likeyou are saying that STUNDG won't start up because of safedisc and you want a patch for it.

I bought STUNDG and it doesn't like my CD drive so I burned a copy of it and got a crack so I can run the copy on my laptop.

I believe that it was designed that way so that the human player doesn't have an unfair advantage on gaining these new resource systems.

I believe that shields and weapons built on a planet will be used to defend that planet... however starships sometimes seem to "requesition" the weapons for repairs so keep an eye on them.

Actually building transports manually is quite helpful especially when you are trying to capture a starsystem that you just destroyed the trade route in. You dont always autobuild before the comp does.

yes you can customize elements, like the ship graphics and aliens.

I'm not sure that we could enlarge them enough to SEE the windows much. If I rendered them big enough they would end up too large on screen.

There is no demo per se. You can try the demo of the first stun to get a rough idea of how the game plays.

Expand very quickly... When you declare war, don't go for the homeworld at first. Take out as many freighter routes.
