I would image the fix will go out with the Zenox refresh.

I know it's been a while but thanks for posting this. I've uploaded the fix and it should make it's way into a release some time soon.

Just wanted to thank everyone in this thread for reporting these issues. I just fixed a bunch of issues with the Human faction and this was a great resource.

I've fixed the exploration ship and the small space port and will be uploading those changes shortly. The other stuff is going to be on the data end of things.

Hey hey

Thanks for reporting this. The yellow sphere are just showing where engines could be installed. They are floating because the orb is generated on the engine itself and doesn't include the support mesh that connects it to the rest of the ship.

Thanks for taking the time to bring this up to us. I have good news. These model issues files are for me and the other artists as a way to double check ships. So it's nothing to worry about on your end. Most of the errors are "All weapon meshes are facing the same direction" which is fine ...

I uploaded this fix the other night. Turns out the destroyer mesh was being used for the cruiser. Not sure how it happened but this should be fixed soon.

So any 3D package that supports FBX files can be used to edit or make new models. The Stride/Xenko side of things is for materials and for asset management. So you edit the mesh in your package of choice, import it into Stride, set up and assign materials, and then build a bundle. SamuraiProgrmmr se...

I can confirm that the firing arc direction is determined by the rotation of the mesh, mostly on the Z axis. This also goes for just about every component. Hello Lunalis Thanks for all of this. I was aware of the running lights on some of the Human civilian ships and some engine trails not working but all the other stuff is news to me. Has anyone been able to get a ship to refuel itself with mining engines like the Hive ships do? It only ever seems to want to mine stuff and dump it off somewhere. Fuel Tankers do it.
