Kind of worried too, I opted out of the download insurance on the belief that I was going to get a hard copy.

I found it through gamespot, which would make me think that a lot more gamers might find it if they put up a review for DW. It just happened to be in the new screens section, and it looked interesting enough for me to take a look. Been hooked ever since.

Wow, thats another fantastic new tidbit to learn. I'm pretty impressed with the research system thats being used so far then, seems like its trying to emulate "real world" research.

Yes, I am aware that many races cannot use special government types, however, when I specifically chose a race IE: Teeken , I can't choose to have their government type the special government type IE: Mercantile guild. Only the standard government types show.

Well the idea that i have of creating a template for such a design would fit that bill perfectly, IMHO. That way you can make those pretty ships with extra shields and armed mining bases, etc. and still let the Ai deal with the process of upgrading.
