RE: I give up trying to buy this game.....

<t> Howdy Jason!<br/> <br/> Well, I've been trying to contact Matrix via email for two months for the purpose of buying this game. I PMed you too. I got so frustrated I posted this problem here. I assume "somebody" at Matrix doesn't mind selling this game.<br/> <br/> Matrix clearly states they accep...

I give up trying to buy this game.....

I'll sent four different emails the last two months to Matrix asking how I can wire them the money for this game. Never a reply.

I even PMed Jason Petho to see if he could help. No reply.

Oh well. I'll find someone to take my money somewhere else.

<r> <QUOTE><s>[quote]</s>ORIGINAL: Huib<br/> <br/> One of the main reasons HAL seems so stupid is because a lot of the existing scenarios designed for play vs Computer are weak designs. RE: JTCS-Time for a rebuild instead of patches and mods?

<t> Oh, I'll be ordering JTCS in the next couple of days (as soon as I can figure out where to wire the $$).<br/> <br/> Believe me, I've played boatloads of war games (Hoi1, Hoi2, 2nd Front, WIR, CivI-IV, etc) and with the "one" exception of the superb CMBB none of them holds a candle to Talonsoft's...

RE: Price of this game.

<t> While $80 is high, it's still a bargain relative to competitors like Paradox who charge $40 for games that are initially hopelessly broken (HOI-3) and need endless patches and time to make it work "somewhat". And then pay a year later another $20 to $25 for expansions that seriously try to fix t...

RE: Why not free production?

<t> Oh, the flavor of possibly producing more Tigers/Panthers/FW190/etc (even though shortcutting something else) is just overwhelming. As others have said, this game is historical up to turn #1. Trying to pretend that nothing could/would be changed in production despite endless different war result...
