Re: Quick Questions Thread

Hi all, I just got this WITE2, but I played a little WITE1. There's something I don't understand. 1 turn is a week, so on the first turn, when I will move my troops it will be during an entire week. But on the air phase, for the missions I may choose which days the missions will take place ! That's ...

Hi, has anyone ever tried to put all the files from West Front and East Front in Middle East format in order to play them with the middle east game engine ?

RE: Development Thread #07 - Platoon##.OOB files explained

<t> I spent some hours dealing with those #22 #23 #24 #25 and #26...yes I though at first some of them were really simple, but in fact they follow the same pattern. In fact I didn't know they were so many special abilities. You're really driving this game in the outer space. Until two hours I never ...

RE: Sneak Peeks, Coming Attractions, Works-In-Progress

<t> The graphisms are really great. By the way, as you're playing at night here, I have a question: there are many bitmaps to represent night, wouldn't it be more easy to use the same as for the day, but with a form of shading like we have we want to see the visibility or reachable hex ?<br/> <br/> ...

RE: Development Thread #07 - Platoon##.OOB files explained

<t> Yes, I'm not stupid...the fact is that I want to take the platoons of West Front and to put them into CSME, because I really like West Front, but I really like what you have done with ME. I have read all I have found on this forum, and I must say you really explained well the things. I think I m...

Yes and it seems to be based on the power of 2, or binary concept, but we should know a little more to create correct new units...

Yes, you can clear an LZ out of a jungle.

You're a forest killer…

But that's a great thing in the game !!

Far too many changes of level...better to have the contour lines without the hex grid...

RE: Sneak Peeks, Coming Attractions, Works-In-Progress

The graphics are really well done...but I find that the contour lines for ground level are not great in such a beautiful landscape. Should be better to have a variation in color at the base cell.

The event engine is really a major add on !!

This is really great, but could we know the order in which the data is put down in movement.pdt ? (there are so many numbers..and didn't match the number of full hex type)

Would it be possible to choose, the nation's 2D counter used by some units, in the org, such that some organisation don't have the same as some others (per division for example)?

<t> Really those diaries are wonderful, and what you have done to allow moding and modifications is just superb !!<br/> <br/> There's something that I don't understand, it's the fact that there are too many duplicates, and makes things a little strange… I will try to explain: take a PzKw V (panther)...
