RE: Maps + Wall - Putting up Experience ?

<r> Think my other half would rather see the maps than steel sheets on the walls <E>:)</E> how many tabletennis tables do they cover? I have them and a room that can take two and a half TT tables fitted together is that big enough ? from looking at them as they arrived today I suspect not <E>:)</E><...

RE: The game won't let you swap units

<t> Can Confirm using the Undo function to get around this type of problem, also been using it to test routing and re-routing of resource convoys by rtb'ing a cp and then recomputing then undoing the rtb and computing again. I think the order in which the available routes are calculated seems to mat...

RE: Production Planning and Convoy Troubles

<t> I'm still having endless issues getting my resources to be transported the way i wish them I've been stuck at imp 2 for a week now trying to get this to work. As mentioned in Cwif back in 2002 there were the same issues but it was possible to black list sea areas/hexes to allow the routing algor...

RE: The new Asia Map - Strategies?

<t> Seems to me that building as many J land units asap (keep CVs goings as well) will make defending China very difficult to the point where it seems more likely that it will be forced to surrender. At first the # of J hqs and the rearranged road/rail/control at set up limits the points of action t...

managing resource transport

<t> I'm having trouble managing the Resource transport UI. Simple problem of getting the Oz resouces to canada & all the cdn to the UK (seems more efficient plus can use French cps in pacific so they have good chance of being FF or at least out of Vichy way )<br/> <br/> But how ever I seem to se...

I'd recommend the American Cemetary in Normandy

Brings home to you the cost paid by the men involved and that was only in normandy in 1944

RE: optional rules

<t> Japanese player will certainly get advantage from the port 'Pakhoi' as this enables an attack on Nanning without requiring a HQ so that must surely strech the chinese player a little more (too much?). Tho' IMHO this is possibly more than offset by the China player having more options when placin...

RE: A randomized MWiF Global War

<t> Certainly makes for an interesting game, speaking from experience having just stepped into the breach on a FTF game which was a player down for a few turns. RE: MWiF Tutorial

perhaps I'm being too pernickity (probably sic) but

item 8 has Blizzard and Snow capitalised while 9 doesn't ?

also in 11 would "used the same as Rail lines" scan better as "used in the same manner as Rail lines"
