RE: Artillery Question!

But that never does much damage, and is wildly inaccurate.

RE: John Tiller Civil War

If you're getting 'movement not allowed' then you haven't selected the unit. Left click a unit on the map, then left click on their profile so it goes a lighter shade. You can now move them.

RE: Couple of Questions on Waterloo...

<t> Who takes over is based on the leadership attribute too. Ranks don't matter, as they're just labels for leaders. This leads to the silly situation for example at Stones River where Captain Morton the Engineer always takes over from Rosecrans over the heads of the 3 Corps commanders because he ha...

They sure used a lot of artillery ammo!

But that is a pretty bloody battle. Thanks for reporting it! :)

Right click on the chateau hexes. Look for where it says gate. You can only attack them where it says gate or wall, not 'high'. Melee from that direction, therefore.

Except that the AI is an utter fool sometimes. I agree that it has its uses, and can be quite good.

RE: Scenario Editor

Very easy, since you have the maps and OOBs done for you. It's just a matter of placing the units and changing the header around.

The only mildly tricky thing is the AI, but if you're going to make human only games that doesn't concern you.

RE: Battles of the Rappahannock Front - BG Expansion

I am most impressed by your work! :) Is it easy to do the maps, or does each one take a long time to construct?

Only 145MB? That's pretty good!

Have you broken the units down into strength points of 10? How is that working out game wise?

RE: Battles of the Rappahannock Front - BG Expansion

That is utterly brilliant! :D Well done, sir!

My only concern is how you will distribute it - the 3D map bmps must be over 100mb at least!

Great work, I look forward to more updates soon!

Borodino was only fought over one day. The longest scenario is 52 turns.

Gettysburg has no music, and it cannot be added. Sorry.

I had thought Matrix would do this when they re-released, but it seems not.

RE: Calling All BG Civil War Designers! - Grand Scenario!

How do you plan to deal with routing? I mean, if units can only move 1 hex normally, what happens if they up and flee 5 hexes after losing a small number?

Sounds very interesting to me. How are you going to handle the mountains and rivers on the map?

I have a feeling it could work well! Keep it up.
