Is this game worth buying?

I very much like playing Strategic WW2 games. Is this game worth purchasing or are there other games which do a better job?

Ahhhh - Yes I bought the game in early 2009, and have loved it ever since. There is the Grand Strategy Mod - See the slitherine forums @: http://www.slitherine.com/forum/viewtop ... d5c10d15c3. It's a good edition to the basic game. This is one of the few Matrix Games I keep coming back to!

Its a rehash of an old game called Strategic Command Europe.Same graphics,sounds,interface.I bought SCE for $9,Commander costs $39,so its your call and your money.

The new grand strategy mod, makes this a gem.

Agreed it is not worth it. Look into Strategic Command III, or maybe Warplan.
