WitE Patch Archive - play the version you like

If you install version older than 1.08.05, you will have to manually install DirectX redistributable from here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/downloa ... px?id=8109 for clean installs of Windows 10, which no longer contains DirectX 9.0c libraries by default.

Added link to DirectX 9.0c redistributable. As more people move to Windows 10 this may become handy.

Is there a comprehensive patch or do you have to install all of them?

Each is comprehensive, so install the last one you want.

I'll be shifting some of the downloads from Dropbox to Google Drive in the coming days, as my Dropbox is nearly full.

Thanks indeed! And if there's a demand for a JSGME version of COREd War in the East I can upload an alternate ZIP version easily. And I've uploaded the map mods as mirror on Mediafire, so if you need their download links I'm happy to share them.

I think JSGME version would be most welcome. That way it would be compatible with the rest. And .zip files are seen less harmful than .exe files downloaded from file sharing service pages. My Windows tried its best to protect me from COREd installer [:)]

Since Hagar is now offering JSGME compatible version of his mod, I have removed the direct download link, so I have one item less to keep in sync.

How do you install the 'rainy day' mod?
Just replce the original Art file in Dat wit the mod file and that's it?

Just saw the new youtube vid about XTRG playing turn 1 of WITE because of Slitherine´s 20th birthday. He did not use Rainy Day mod but a map mod which is much more detailed. I searched but could not find this mod. Where can I get it?
