2.04 Update for July 1st

The new Cold War turned hot wargame from On Target Simulations, now expanded with the Player's Edition! Choose the NATO or Soviet forces in one of many scenarios or two linked campaigns. No effort was spared to model modern warfare realistically, including armor, infantry, helicopters, air support, artillery, electronic warfare, chemical and nuclear weapons. An innovative new asynchronous turn order means that OODA loops and various effects on C3 are accurately modeled as never before.

2.04 Update for July 1st

Post by CapnDarwin »

We are in the process of putting the files together and fixing one ugly last minute bug Charles located. I will be pdfing revised documents tonight for inclusion in the file package. Also working on getting the Tutorial Guide revamped as well. Given the short week with the 4th, we will fall into the Matrix queue next week if all goes well. As soon as we have a verified installer, we will let you guys know.

It's taken longer than we planned, but I think you will all enjoy the results.

Enjoy your week and weekend! [8D]

Horse1974, yes in the sense of new or updated features. We will, if needed, deal with any major bugs that escaped detection during 2.04. The plan is to focus the teams efforts on the next game in the series. We will still be around here answering questions and taking down notes of good ideas from all of you guys.

Southern Europe. Next. After that we are thinking Far East and then mid-east and WW2 are up for debate.

No less than Southern Germany. Whatever else the Good Capn puts in there I'll add battles and campaigns for.

I have no lack of ideas for battles/campaigns. We have just begun to fight!!! [:D]

I'll be the first to admit that the thought of this game going WWII is exciting BUT, I really want the Cold War in Europe stuff fleshed out before anything else. [8D]

We do too. The idea is to cover as much of the Europe theater as we can in the 80s then move to a new region. Basically more areas and times then hours in a day to get to them all, but we'll try. [;)]

I'd be very interested in the Arab-Israeli conflicts, as someone pointed out above, the Golan Heights, etc.

i break out into a sweat of anticipation when someone mentions taking the game to WW2.....middle east sounds good......but how about giving the Korean War some love it's really an under represented arena.
