Thanks for the help general. NOUPDATE was/is set to "N". And CAPS LOCKS are set to off. And I'm using a clean install that I d/l'd a few weks ago. So must be some other setting(s) that I have set wrong.

I haven't bought it yet, I was just trying to appraise the realism and accuracy of the game's command modelling as compared to other ACW wargames in order to see if it's worth getting.

COW scenarios and TOAW III??

I'm trying to open up a COW file in TOAWIII and it won't load. Are COW scenarios unplayable with this format?? And is it possible to make COW files playable.. somehow??


UPDATE: I just got it to work, this thread can be disregarded.

I would have preferred that the two German pincers encircle Moscow, but it looks like they are going to hit that ring with full force. Germans are going to take some nasty losses with that decision.
