Please answer the questions

yesterday, and today, there is an announcement about Strategic Command, World War one, classic.

In reply to the first thread of this forum, many of us have asked some basic questions about the game which are rather crucial.

Such as whether t includes the Blitzkrieg expansion for the original game, whether anything new will be added to the complete Battleground version, etc.

Not a single reply from anyone at Matrix. This is the first time I can recall Matrix not answering such questions when a new game is announced.

It is frustrating to have all these issues raised, and then ignored.

Come on fellows, you can do better than this.

all questions will be answered when seen and in order as some days staff are very busy with releases and other work etc, so answer will come, they always do

As Zak said its a little busy at the moment but I'm sorry you were frustrated
I can give you a few quick answers (as per my reply to the previous thread)

I'm sorry, the original post was not as clear as it could have been. Whilst we edit that I can answer a few of your questions

Strategic Command Classic WW1 is a re release of the original Strategic Command 2 WW1 game published by Battlefront (and so as such is older than Strategic Command - War in Europe that Matrix published in November 16)

It now includes the 'Breakthrough!' expansion (and the most recent patches so its a complete package but there are no new features or content)

Battlefront and Fury Software (Hubert) are happy for us to do this

To come back to this thread once, actually I'm surprised how upset I can get by any question not answered within 24 hours. This is something new for myself and probably has to do with the new information era I guess. My apoligize when I was somewhat demanding, it was all with good intention and enthousiasm for the game!

thanks for this, i had the battlefront version on my wishlist for a while but perhaps will now wait to this all in one ersion instead!
i see that the battlefront version looks like it mAKES some nice use of great old paintings in its screens, i hope this version will too

also will this version have the franco prussian war scenarios too?

I have both from Battlefront. Fun game, though I found the German Navy a bit too aggressive when you put ships in the blockade squares.

As an owner of the original WWI game from Battlefront (and purchaser of most Matrix/Slitherine games), I just wanted to say thanks for offering this. It reflects the great character of Matrix, which I've supported since it's first days in business.
