New Unit TOEs

Is there a way to create new unit TOEs in the editor specifically for a scenario, rather than in the generic data which gets overridden when the game is updated/patched?

You have to lock generic data for this scenario - this is done in editor main menu after loading the scenario
WitE dev team - (aircraft data)
WitE 1.08+ dev team (data/scenario maintainer)
WitW dev team (aircraft data, partial data/scenario maintainer)
WitE2 dev team (aircraft data)

Thanks! I found the button and read the section in the editor manual. I assume from the wording in the manual that the data will be locked into the scenario forever, and future game patches will not make any changes to data for that scenario? While I want the scenario to benefit from game updates I don't want my TOE mods to disappear. I guess I can't have both. Or will it only lock the box that I check (TOEs), and the others (Leaders, Aircraft, Ground Elements, Devices) will still continue to update?

It wil lock all data, the boxes are only there for the option to spread changes made there into generic data.
