Will I be able to play it?

Gary Grigsby’s War in the West 1943-45 is the most ambitious and detailed computer wargame on the Western Front of World War II ever made. Starting with the Summer 1943 invasions of Sicily and Italy and proceeding through the invasions of France and the drive into Germany, War in the West brings you all the Allied campaigns in Western Europe and the capability to re-fight the Western Front according to your plan.

Are you really struggling with WitE?

If not my gut says you'll be OK - I only have a laptop and I'm fine. The new map construct helps.

WITW is not requiring a lot more resources than WITE. Game allocates a bit more of RAM so you should have at least 4G (or more). Otherwise I have no big issues on my 6yo PC to code and play the game. Although faster CPU would probably minimize my forum forum post count :)
