If I'd not been born with my disability this is a game I'd have loved to play (fast, skillful and physical)..anyway does anyone know of a decent recent Hockey management game?

Ah, like 20 years ago I used to play some Nintendo Ice Hockey game vs my best mate. I always played as the USSR. I loved the fattest guy. I had nicknamed him "Vasiliev" (that sounded to me like the name of a brute fat crazy Russian). And indeed he was a brute [:D]

I think you might like the hockey sim from the makers of out of the park baseball. Here is the link, the baseball sim is great and I am sure this one would be great as well

In the past, Eastside Hockey was considered the best career sim, still might be even though outdated. Just no longer supported.

Thanks..I know very little about the game and teams etc. If the sim has some fighting and punch ups all the better.

NHL 2014 includes fighting and punch ups [;)]. But please, hockey is much more than that...
