At one time I remember a rumor about a potential future release based on this but been awhile now. Still alive?

Hi Deerslayer,

Shockwave still has long term plans to do the Flying Tigers (FT) but FT has been delayed while we work on the Merlin engine. The Merlin engine is our base line engine (based on BOBII) but needs many new features for FT. A new game is planned first (not announced as yet) to also add new features to the Merlin engine.

FT is still 2 years downstream.

The historical research is about 80% done.
I have also found out alot about all of the airfields involved in early 1941.
With the help of one gentleman whom spends his spare time finding MIA's from the later phase of the Burma war,
I have some finely detailed maps of the areas around airfields from British, 1930's and American 1944 and 1945.
Flying Tigers should be an authentic simulation experience when we produce it.

Aloha!
