SSG Designer Ian Trout Passes Away

Post by KG Erwin »

I just read this, and was greatly saddened. He and Roger Keating were the designers of some of my favorite C64 games, which were the first computer wargames I played. He was 61 years old.

My heart goes out to Ian's family. [:(]

My sincere condolences to all those close to him.

That is indeed bad news.  While known for his founding of, and programming for SSG, he also did a number of titles for SSI (before there was an SSG)...

Rebel Force (half of the "Computer Conflict" pack from 1980)
Operation Apocalypse (1981)
Southern Command (1981)
Germany 1985 (1982)
RDF 1985 (1983)
Baltic 1985 (1984)
Norway 1985 (1985)

"Lose" is the opposite of "win." "Loose" is the opposite of "tight."
