PT Boat production rate.

I have looked all over and I aparently am missing it, but is thier (thier must be) a figure or figures given for the estimated production rates for PT's for various times during the war?, if their is indead such a chart can some please throw me a clue[:)]

there no Pt Boat production .. see in the database to know when each will be available [;)]

I had some new ones early in the war, I don't remember how many, and then none from March until August. Recently I have seen them come in batches of 10 - 16 at intervals of some weeks.

I kind of used mine up in the early war and in retrospect I should have played them smarter. I don't think they would have changed the results of any of my battles but I could have inflicted a bit more damage with them.

You have the ones in the ship availability list and the ones that come in the form of supply.

I don't know of any way to tell how many you will get.

It was the supply created ones i was wondering about .. being able to wave a magic wand and create them is fun ( note not a complaint ) much better than having to nurse them from the west coast [:D]

You have the ones in the ship availability list and the ones that come in the form of supply.

I don't know of any way to tell how many you will get.

Sorry no you won't have more than that, all the PT boats in the availability list (Except for the ones that start on the map) go into the PT boat pool that are created from supply.

Say 10 of the listed ones become available on 08/01/42, they do not arrive at a entry port they go into the PT pool and your "Create PT Boats" button is now available and you can create 10 PT boats out of supply...

Just playing the game earlier and spotted a lone PT on the west coast .. think i might just point and shoot it at canton . let it crawl along alone instead of slowing down a merchie TF ..

At start of 15 you can make 5 PT boats ( I believe it is 5 not 10 ) and then none for quite a long time.

What about Japanese PT boats?
There are only 6 at start, all of them are Gyoraitei 1 type.
They don't upgrade.
There are no new PTs in the ship production list.
You can't create new ones with "Create PT boats" like allies can do.
Yet in the database there are Gyoraitei 1, Gyoraitei 10, Gyoraitei 201 and Gyoraitei 241 types.
Why are they there?

I beleave later in the war many more Japanese PT's were built yet they are not in the game, while a different class to be shure all the thousands of sucide boats that were built are not eiter, a real easy way to add them would be as, as has been done for the PT's.

Too bad that Japanese PT boats are so few, people could really use some more of them. Not talking about ahistorical use, just to have a few of them here and there to make trouble for allied invasion force from time to time...
