I'm guessing a lot of people do.

Five pages of people wondering when it will be finished. But not much hope for soon™.

I have a place for it on my hard drive. Though, I need to clean out the cob webs frequently as I wait for it.

I guess I need to repeat this periodically. Steel Tigers is scheduled to be 2by3's next project once WITE2 post-release support calms down. Right now we're still focused on WITE2 post-release support.

Yes, with the Steel Inferno campaign and scenario pack coming out next month, we're pretty focused on WITE2.

Thanks, though not really encouraging tbh.
I somehow get the feeling once you are finally finished with WITE2, there will be a War in the West 2 and then it´s time for WITE3 and then we are in 2040 and still no Steel Tigers... :(

It's understandable that people would be skeptical considering SP was supposed to be in development long before WitE2 appeared on the horizon. With the annoucement of SP having been made over six years ago I wouldn't be at all surprised something else appears to keep development on hold or it's abandoned all together. It's in the history of the thing and what happens to games that are put on hold time and time again for whatever reason. Waiting to be pleasantly surprised this one bucks the trend.

I assume that they're referring to the sequel of Tigers on the Prowl.
Do we know that a sequel IS in the works? That would be ok, if SP2 never gets published.

We are referring to the (supposed) sequel of SP1-3, SPWaW and SPWW2.

What do you mean?
You know what they say, don't you? About how us MechWarriors are the modern knights, how warfare has become civilized now that we have to abide by conventions and rules of war. Don't believe it.

I have for the most part given up on the prospect this game sees the light of day before I am dead. But I will still follow this thread for the slightest of hope.

Thanks for the link. Did not know about this.

Since my monitor is 3440x1440 and I have windows 11 and 3080 video card.

I will get the enhanced version in a few weeks. Seems like that would work looking over the forums.
