Damn, lost to Washington when my closer gave up a walk-off 3 run homer in the bottom of the 9th.  So much for the winning streak.  I'm now at 22-16, and 5 games out of first.

I have to get in on this.  Since Atlanta is the closest available city to home, I will play the Rebels[:)]

Had my first Grand Slam Home Run of the season and it came at a good time. It's the top of the 7th and my team is tied with Las Vegas 2 - 2. I pinch hit for my pitcher with 2B Michael Gill that has a contact rating of 8. He grounds out.. 1 out. My leadoff hitter Jeffrey Rhodes singles up the middle and then I have him steal second. My second hitter Curt Harvey singles through the hole on the leftside and now I have runners on 1st & 3rd. The opposing pitcher Roy Latorre walks my 3rd hitter Raul Olszewski and now the bases are loaded with 1 out!!! The opposing GM decides to change pitchers and brings in a lefty William Reid. I'm thinking oh great there goes my chance at scoring. He ends up striking out my 4th hitter Mike Riggs and now I'm down to one out. Up comes my 3B Roderick Robinson who I just traded for a few days before. He smacks the 2nd pitch to LF going 372ft. I guess I could say the wind helped it abit since it was blowing to LF at 12MPH but hey it sure did help me break open the game and eventually the win.

BTW I noticed that Grand Slam's are not noted in the Players Card anywhere and I think they should be. Also in the Highlights section that you can get to on the bottom menu, it doesn't list Robinson's Grand Slam there either. I was rather shocked at both of these considering players don't hit Grand Slam's everyday.

i did a bad thing and simmed last night to catch up to PadresFan, May 14th on the season, jsut to not be so far behind since i can't seem to steal enough extra time(the result of an 8 month old baby, but he loves to watch baseball and actually will sit with me and play PS...kind of a good luck charm[;)]). I will post my leaders tonight, but in my division, it is a dog fight early on now between Chicago and the Surf Dawgs[:'(]

As for the mighty River Cats, the team struggled out of the gate but has been playing better lately. Joseph Holman has been our "best" starting pitcher (2-2, 4.36). Our bullpen has been adequate. MR/spot starter Samuel Leon is a beast. He's dominating RHB so far, and with his ratings I've yet to see him throw a pitch less than 94 mph. Check him out if you need a hard thrower out of the pen. Offensively C Louis Colman (.317-10-17), 3b Alfredo Eyman (.326-6-19), and CF Ray Murray (.340-3-21) have been our primary threats so far. I'm not sure how we've managed the record we have, here's hoping that things don't come crashing down quickly.

Atlanta won their series 2-1 with&nbsp; New Hampshire, Portland, and Las Vegas.&nbsp; They split 2-2 with Reno.&nbsp; In the first three games against Reno, the visitors jumped on Atlanta pitching in the first and build a large lead.&nbsp; In game 1 & 2 Atlanta worked their way back to lead, ultimately winning the&nbsp;1st and losing the 2nd.&nbsp; Reno staved off any comback in the 3rd game and lead the series 2-1.&nbsp; In the 4th game Atlanta turned the tables and built the early lead and held on for the win.
