How to leave battles without saving

If you want to leave a battle without saving, use Windows task manager to terminate the RtW3 application.
This is very useful if your battle is ruined by a bug or you are locked in an inconsequential 1400min battle that you can't end before the max duration because of enemy aircraft in the air.

This as well. But since RtW3 is single player only it's okay.

My battle-breaking bugs so far were opposing fleets spawning right on top of each other, infinite error reports that made it impossible to command the ships (which of course ran into torpedos) and occasionally the game fails to load the any fleet of one side due to a bug, resulting in unwarranted free VP for the other.
But thanks to the glorious task manager, this can be fixed.
