PBEM++ not uploading

Playing a PBEM with my son we've run into a slight issue. Having received the error stating a failure to communicate (see image1) we try to follow the instructions to upload the backup except his saved folder is empty (see image2).

Apologies if this has been asked and answered previously.

Apologies for this problem. If the game can't find the file either, it's possible something went really wrong and it wasn't created. Apologies if you have to retake the turn. I did a decent bit of reworking the PBEM++ code on our side, so I probably can't try to fix any bug you might be experiencing as the code path that caused it may not exist anymore.

This was actually the second attempt at the turn. We've abandoned the game now but just wanted to know if there was something we'd done wrong or could change (maybe something with folder permissions?). We'll give a smaller scenario a go and I'll see if any backups are created (on my end they seem fine). Is the lack of backup files something that's been previously reported?

Anyway. The game is great and we're looking forward to the dlc. Keep up the good work

I don't think anyone else has reported it. I possibly ran into it during testing, but never in a way that was problematic for me. Are you guys using Steam or Matrix versions?

We are both using the Steam version.

I have experienced the same issue today.

We have had server time out issues in the past that seemed to be similar to this. I will circle around to this soon and see if I can parse out what might have happened from this end.
